William Branham’s 7Seals of Clarence Larkin
William Branham’s 7Seals of Clarence Larkin
“I want to make this real clear. Everything that I read of other people on these Seals has been contrary to what come to me in the room.”—William Marrion Branham - The Seventh Seal
William Branham without acknowledgement used Clarence Larkin’s work as the primary source and guideline for the seven seals sermons. That within itself is petty, but far beyond that, he said he was commissioned by seven angels with Thus saith the Lord and that he received direct THUS SAITH THE LORD revelation of the Seven Seals from an angel, the Holy Spirit, the ball of Fire every day in his room that was contrary to everything he had read of other people. That is a blatant lie in the name of God or Scripturally stated, using God’s name in vain. Please compare his own words with those of Clarence Larkin to see if his claims compare with reality. If the Seals are not the authentic revelation from God delivered first-hand, contrary to everything everyone he read said (as William Branham stated), there is nothing left. There is no WMB Elijah, no WMB Seventh Angel, no vindicated prophet or word, no exclusive Message of the hour for followers of WMB to cling to, etc., and it is thus high time for YOU to begin to study the word of God without the WMB filter and ask God to reveal it to you. Can you handle the truth? “..no lie is of the truth.” 1 John 2:21
“Now I want to make this real clear. ...everything that I ever believed on Them [“these Seals”], and has read of other people, has been contrary to what come to me in the room.”—William Branham - The Seventh Seal 1963-0324E
“them revelations in the presence of that ball of Fire hanging there in the room,..”—William Branham - The Fifth Seal 1963-0322
“about twelve o'clock in the day the Holy Spirit just swept right down into the room, and the whole thing just opened up to me..” —William Branham - The First Seal - 1963-0318
“if you ever believed I ever said anything in a sermon inspired, you take them tapes of the Seven Seals. And if you ever heard anything that's really, as I can say it's THUS SAITH THE LORD, get those.”—William Branham
1st Seal
Larkin: “This “White Horse Rider” will be Satan’s “SUPERMAN.” the embodiment of all Satanic power.”
Branham: “Who is this rider, this horse rider? It's Satan's superman... this rider is nothing but Satan's superman, a incarnate devil.”
Larkin: “He is not Christ, as some claim, for Christ, as the LAMB, is holding the “Seven Sealed Book” and breaking its “Seals.”
Branham: “He's standing here with the Books in His hand, and there goes the white horse rider. See? So it wasn't the Holy Spirit.”
Larkin: “Christ does not appear as a White Horse Rider until chapter 19:11–16.”
Branham: “Christ is not seen anymore from then, but He is seen in the Book of Revelations the 19th chapter, coming on a white horse.”
Larkin: “This “Rider” has a “bow,” no arrow is mentioned.”
Branham: “The rider has no arrows for his bow.”
Larkin: “In other words this White Horse Rider is the ANTICHRIST.”
Branham: “A white horse rider went out. He's the antichrist.”
2nd Seal
Larkin: “The symbolism is very clear. Red, the color of the Horse, is a symbol of BLOOD, and the Sword is a symbol of WAR.”
Branham: “Now, here's my revelation of it:.. you find out here that this man has a sword so he pertains to church political war. He's going forth a sword in his hand, riding red horse, wading through the blood of everybody that disagrees with him.”
3rd Seal
Larkin: “The “BLACK HORSE” signifies famine…”
Branham: “Now, let's notice the Third Seal. Now, this is famine.”
4th Seal
Larkin: “..the "corpse-like" color of the Horse.”
Branham: “..a mixed color--the mixed color of the dead , pale horse.”
Larkin: “It is worthy of note that the Riders of the first three Horses are not named,..”
Branham: “Notice, None of the other horses or no time that this rider ever rode, they didn't have--that man had no name,”
[Notice, Larkin suggested different riders, while WMB is suggesting the same rider
changing horses, so in his repeating of Larkin on this point (with a slight variation), his language gets muddled up.]
Larkin: “We are not surprised then when the Rider upon the “PALE HORSE” is called “DEATH,”
Branham: “..now he is called death.”
Larkin: “The reference here is clearly to some great PESTILENCE that shall come upon the earth.”
Branham: “Fourth Seal, pestilence and death.”
Larkin: “But awful as those days will be, they will be only the “BEGINNING OF SORROWS” for those who are left. Matt. 24:6–8.”
Branham: “Yes, sir, now we're going to it; [Matthew 24] 7 and 8, now, that would be the Fourth Seal.”
5th Seal
Larkin: “they were not the Martyrs of the Christian Church,... are those who will be killed for the "Word of God" and their "testimony.."
Branham: “They were killed for the Word of God's sake, not for the testimony of Christ. Did you understand that?”
Larkin: “they are not the Martyrs of the Christian Church, for they would not cry to be avenged, but like Stephen would say—“Lord, lay not this sin to their charge.”...these Martyrs whose SOULS are seen are mainly JEWS.”
Branham: “if that had been the Bride, it'd been like Stephen: "Father, forgive them," you know. But these are Jews... They asked for revenge.”
Larkin: “there is no such thing as Soul Sleep, and that disembodied SOULS are conscious and can speak and cry..”
Branham: “..the opening of this Seal in this last day; it just takes soul sleeping plumb out of the way.”
6th Seal
Larkin: “At this point it will be interesting to compare, as on the next three pages, Christ’s “Olivet Discourse” (Matt. 24:1–30), with the “Six Seals” of Rev. 6:1–17. The similarity between them is most striking,..”
Branham: “Now, I want you to hold your Book like this: Matthew 24 and Revelations 6, like this, and let's compare something here just a little bit. So watch this now, and you can find out just how--how it is. See, what the Lamb here is showing exactly in symbol what He said over here in Word,..”
[Larkin’s comparison of Matthew 24 and Rev. 6 is then gone through by William Branham.]
Larkin: “In Isa. 13:9–10, we read—“Behold the ‘DAY OF THE LORD’ cometh…”
Branham: “Isaiah the prophet seen this Sixth Seal open and spoke of it.. Let's go back here to Isaiah, the 13th chapter of Isaiah.”
Larkin: “We must not forget the “GREAT DARKNESS” that for 3 days overspread Egypt..”
Branham: “Matthew, 27th chapter of Matthew and the--the 45th verse, I believe it is...Blackness, darkness: Egypt--blackness, darkness,..”
7th Seal
Larkin: Some claim that it was the “SEVEN SEALED BOOK,” now open, and therefore the “TITLE DEED” to the Earth..
Branham: the forfeited title deed is now in the hands of the original Owner, Almighty God. The title deed to the earth..
Larkin: “..sounding of the “Trumpets,” and the pouring out of the “Vials,” and so extends down to the ushering in of the Millennium.”
Branham: “..the end of the trumpets. It's the end of the vials, and even ends the ushering in of the millennium; that's on the Seventh Seal.”
Larkin: “To illustrate, a rocket fired into the air may burst into “seven stars,” and one of these stars into “seven other stars,” and one of the second group of stars into a third group of “seven stars.” So the “Seventh” Seal…”
Branham: “It's just like firing a rocket into the air, and that rocket explodes here, and it goes up, then it explodes again. It puts out five stars. One of those stars explodes and blows out five stars from it; and then one of them stars explodes, blows out five stars from it (See?); it fades on out. That's what the Seventh Seal;..”
Larkin: “This “SILENCE” was something remarkable. The Four and Twenty Elders ceased their harp-playing; the angels hushed their voices, and the Cherubim and Seraphim and all the host of Heaven were silent, and so great was the silence that all Heaven was awed by it;”
Branham: “And the four and twenty elders that stood before God there harping with their harps, they quit playing their harps. The Angels hushed their singing in heaven. Think, the holy Cherubims and Seraphims.. They were awed by it…”
Larkin: “Now a “half an hour” is not long… when a life is at stake a minute, or even a few seconds, seem to be hours. The suspense of the half hour of SILENCE in Heaven was intense.”
Branham: “Now, a half hour might not be long if you're having a good time, but in the suspense of between death and life, it seemed like a millennium.”
