everything trinity
“Everything is in a trinity. And we’re in a trinity, we have a mortal body, a celestial body, and then a glorified body [“then the glorified body in the resurrection.” - 1965-1128M].” 1960-0803 - Abraham Rev. William Marrion Branham
Unlike Paul, who wasn’t an admirer of ‘everything trinity’ and who taught there are two bodies— a temporal, earthly body and an eternal, immortal body “put on” (1 Cor. 15:53-54; 2 Cor. 5:3) at the resurrection (1 Cor. 15:50-55; 2 Cor. 4:14, 5:1-10), William Branham said it was revealed to him that there is a third body called the theophany body that one occupies at death ‘beyond the curtain of time.’ This is totally unbiblical and inconsistent with the hope of the saints that is wholly dependent upon the future resurrection, which only occurs when Christ descends from heaven, of whom the fallen asleep and living saints “AWAIT.” (1 Thess 1:10, 4:14-17; 2 Thess. 1:7)
Philippians 3:20-21 20 But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, 21 who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.
The Scripture ascribes immortality to the saved, never to the lost—always in the resurrection at the awaited parousia of the Lord, never at death— always in a glorified body, never as a disembodied soul or spirit (1 Cor. 15:50-55; Phil 3:20-21; 2 Tim 1:10; John 5:28-29).
