Lee Vayle: Rev. 3:20 “any man”.. “only one person” ..William Branham
LEE VAYLE - 1995-0219 SEED OF DISCREPANCY # 5: God is Truth (20) “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man (one person) hear my voice, and open the door, (That shows you only one person can do that, that’s the prophet, that’s Elijah, Rev 10:7) I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.”
Rev. 3:20 KJV Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
Rev. 3:20 NASB Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.
As I recall Lee Vayle was first a school teacher. However, here he said that "any man" ('anyone') means exclusively one single man (of course that man in his mind is William Branham), instead of "any man/anyone" being inclusive of all men/women in general. Does that sound right to you? Facts are threatening to those invested in fraud, but better for one to cut their losses now rather than later. “Any man" is not specific, but inclusive of as many that will ("if ANY MAN will hear my voice"). A parallel Scripture (also penned by John the Beloved) in John 10:27: Jesus said "my sheep hear my voice." I suppose by Lee Vayle's reasoning, that means William Branham only also.
Lee Vayle ignored the "any" and just used "man" in his twisting of the verse in order to make William Branham to be the only one to open up to Christ and sup with him, and thus your only avenue to God. That is purely blasphemous and heretical. This is an example of the “sleight of men, [and] cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive” (Eph. 4:14).
Just another one for the team. Everything must point to William Branham to keep the constituency on the line and coming back for more deceit.
